It was constructed in 1774-75.St. Lawrences´s Church is over 500 years old.And the nature in Lohja is beautiful and worth seeing!

Examples of day tours:
Elias Lönnrot and modern Sammatti We are starting from Sammatti Church with a transport service suitable to the size of the group (8-25 persons). First we visit Paikkari Croft, Elias Lönnrot´s birthplace. From there we head to "Greenhouse Phenomenon", a unique department store experience of unexpected goods and a cup of coffee or tea. We will then drive to Lammi House, Lönnrot´s old age home, taking a winding and hilly road built by him. After touring the house we will dine at the legendary Sammatti Tavern. Our last destination will be Sammatti Church at our point of departure.
The Three Hags Tour Museums, landscapes and storytelling. Starting from Sammatti Church, we will head to Lohilampi. Lohilampi Museum contains an abundant selection of rustic artifacts, and it has a beautiful courtyard. The tour goes on to the tragically fated Karjalohja Stone Church. After that it is possible to dine at Tuuheikko Bar in the centre of Sammatti. The bar was built in the 1960s and has now been renovated to look like a cosy living room. The tour will go on to Elias Lönnrot´s birthplace Paikkari Croft, and end to Sammatti Church. I will tell Sammatti stories while we are moving between places. Singing and laughing is allowed!
